What a year! A year of families finding their dream homes, downsizers finding great bungalows, investors increasing their portfolios and some landlords selling their portfolios. First time buyers have got on the ladder and we have seen off-market sales increase due to our Heads Up property search. Here are some highlights of the year
This sale was for the largest residential plot in Shepperton we have ever dealt with - 7 acres. Located along the River Thames with moorings, this home had enormous potential and was wonderful to market and spend time there.
We had two more sales this year of the Edward Schoolheifer homes located on Manygate Lane. These properties are incredibly popular for their modernist architecture and we now have a waiting list of buyers for these homes.
Another detached home we have sold in Minsterley Avenue. These are incredibly popular for the amazing gardens and quiet surroundings.
One of 2 sales in Claremont this year. Both sold to Buy to Let investors. Tenants sourced soon after completion and one sold off-market through our Heads Up property search.
This homely 5 bedroom house was sold off-market this year. A fantastic location, incredible garden, all within walking distance to Shepperton High Street, train station and schools.
Bungalows were incredibly popular in 2024. This one, in need of full modernisation was sold off-market. An exciting renovation project for the new owner. Just a short stroll to Shepperton High Street
A chalet bungalow in Kilmiston Avenue. This was a real pleasure working with the owner and the buyer on this one. After an unsuccessful marketing campaign with another estate agent in Shepperton, the vendor was recommended to us by one of their friends. New photos, social media exposure and a buyer was sourced. Not all agents are the same!
The market is forever changing and always different from one year to the next. Yet, the local market continues to offer opportunities to sellers and buyers. You just need a good estate agent working for YOU!

As we hit the third week of December, the Shepperton property market does slow down ready for the big day. It’s at this time of year, I like to work out the total value of every home in Shepperton, and how that value has changed since 2010 (as that was the bottom of the market after the Credit Crunch).
Some homes in Shepperton fly off the market within weeks. Others sit for months, attract only a handful of viewings, then quietly disappear from the portals, unsold.
The difference isn’t luck, it’s sellability.
With only a few weeks to go before the end of the year, as a Shepperton estate and letting agent, I wanted to share what has happened in both the UK and Shepperton property markets in 2025, analysing the trends for Shepperton homeowners, home buyers and landlords alike… and then compare them to previous years.
The new annual surcharge on homes over £2m has been positioned as a targeted, progressive measure, yet this is overwhelmingly a London and South East tax. Outside those areas, the proportion of £2m homes barely registers.
