Newboulds & Co take a step forward in becoming a 'green' company by taking delivery of electric vehicles

In the middle of 2021, the directors of Newboulds & Co discussed what steps had to be taken to make us a 'green' company. The target is to become a company that does not make any negative impact on the environment, economy, or community.

The first task was to make us paperless. As of April 2022, it is only our window card display where paper is used. All contracts and property details are digital and market appraisals are carried on tablets.

We sell, let and manage properties in Shepperton, Sunbury-on-Thames, Staines-Upon-Thames, Ashford, Feltham, Chertsey, Addlestone, Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge, Hampton, Hampton Hill, Teddington, Richmond-Upon-Thames and Kingston-Upon-Thames. That is a lot of mileage when you take into account 3 directors driving in this area to carry out market appraisals, viewings and management inspections (managed properties are inspected every 4 months).

We cover thousands of miles a year, so it was agreed we had to look to electric vehicles for our move to become a 'green' company a reality. In October 2021 we ordered three electric cars and we are delighted to announce they have just been delivered on the eve of our 10th anniversary.

From now on all appointments will be attended in electric vehicles.

We welcome any suggestions to help us achieve our goal of becoming a 'green' company.
