Selling or letting your home - how do you choose an estate agent?

When considering which estate agent should market your home, don't worry about floor plans, opening hours and which websites they advertise on. Find out who you are going to be working with, what makes them different?

We put the spotlight on YOU

At Newboulds & Co, we concentrate on helping people as much as we do selling property. We don’t attach ‘targets’ against our properties, our advice is always with your best interests in mind.

When inviting an estate agent to carry out a market appraisal, you would be forgiven for thinking they will talk about professional photography, floor plans, accompanied viewings and feedback. In our view, this should be a given - a minimum expectation.

When you invite Newboulds & Co, we want to learn every detail of your property, what stood out for you and why you’re making your next move. That way, we know how to best advise you to achieve your goal and devise a strategy that works for YOU. This isn’t one size fits all. People move for different reasons and every home is different.

Many agents will say your home needs to be seen by as many people as possible, we say your home needs to be seen by as many of the ‘right’ people as possible. We don’t throw mud at walls. If you are selling your four bedroom family home there is little point in us aiming at a retired couple looking to downsize.

You will deal with the business owner from the very beginning until your home is sold or let (and beyond if you are using our popular management service when letting). We are experienced enough to know moving home is rarely plain sailing. When we sell or let a property we know it is due to teamwork – between us and you. We encourage open conversations with you as often as possible via which ever method you prefer; face-to-face, telephone or email.

Reputation is very important to us and that reputation has come from us making sure every decision we make is with our client’s best interests in mind. When you instruct us, we put the spotlight on you and your home, not us.
