World's most expensive car sells - And it wasn't on Autotrader!

What does this have to do with me buying a home you may ask? Well, the home you are looking for may be available to buy but not on the open market.

I think we will all agree what an incredible car the Mercedes-Benz 1955 300 SLR Uhlenhaut coupe is. On May 5, 2022, it sold to a private buyer for 135 million euros ($142,769,250) in a secret auction.

A report in The Times on 6th June 2022 suggests one in ten houses are now sold discreetly. This means they did not appear on any of the usual property portals.

To make sure you are aware of ALL properties Newboulds & Co are instructed to sell, we recommend you create your own Heads Up Property Search. That way you will receive a notification of suitable properties as soon as we are instructed, way BEFORE it could ever make it to Rightmove, Zoopla and Primelocation.

We have recently agreed sales 'off market' on the following properties:

  • Four bedroom detached house in one of Chertsey's most popular roads.
  • A stunning detached bungalow, just a short walk from Shepperton High Street.
  • An incredibly popular modernist property designed by Edward Schoolheifer in Shepperton
  • Two Freehold garages in Shepperton

Across the UK and here in Shepperton, the property market remains surprisingly active despite the issues at home and abroad. House prices are steady, buyers are still being selective, and the market itself is evolving.
